I really want one.
That is all. Carry on with your day.

I’d hit it. It would fit nicely in my dream garage next to the Avantime, Thesis, C6, Fiat Croma wagon, and Alfa 159.

Shit, you just described my dream garage. Don’t forget the Matra Murena:
Also, I’d like a Talbot Peugeot 309 GTi
Finally, a CX Loadrunner is a must-have.

The Vel Satis is kind of like that person’s hands: unorthodox, inexplicable, and oddly proportioned. The nails say woman, the shape says man, and the skin says latex glove.

DTS headlights? VW taillights? Or did I make that up?

And it has that infamous incredibly amazing Renault rump!

Don’t think so; it’s far too French for that!

I was just thinking the other day....they’re nearly all gone. Haven’t seen one in ages.

Seems like it was a winning combination of Japanese engines and typically French reliability.

Not too many Japanese engines though - they usually had Renault diesels.
A 3.5 petrol Vel Satis would have been even more of a depreciation disaster than the diesel ones.

I think this video is of a 3.5 VQ35 engined model, though.

I’ve never seen one. I’ve been to countries where they were sold.
